Ubisoft has announced that a free performance upgrade will be released for Far Cry 3: Classic Edition, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragonand Far Cry Primal on current-gen consoles this week.
Last week, the studio shared a cryptic post on social media showing three lines of emoticons in relation to three of its Far Cry game.
The mysterious post was quickly cracked after it was announced via a YouTube video Far Cry 3: Classic Edition will receive a free update of 60 images per per second (fps) on PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on January 21.
But what about the other lines of emoticons? Well, Ubisoft has now confirmed that the 60fps performance update will arrive on the same day as well Blood Dragon.

Although the update has not been formally announced for Far Cry Primal yet, the study more or less confirmed that “Primalis next,” in response to one fan and added “It’s coming” to another.
It’s just a matter of when Ubisoft will announce the update, but fans can apparently look forward to smoother performance across all three games tomorrow.
The latest game in the long-running series is Far cry 6but Ubisoft has not yet officially announced Far cry 7.
In September, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot offered a glimpse into the future of the franchise, revealing that it will be more multiplayer-focused going forward.
