No-detention warrants issued for former CM Gandapur

ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad District and Sessions Court on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants against former Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in an audio leak case and ordered the police to arrest him and produce him before the court.

The move follows his absence from the court hearing, which also prompted the court to begin steps to declare him a fugitive.

The case was heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Nasruminullah Baloch of the District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad. During the case, a co-defendant named in the case appeared in court.
