ISLAMABAD:
The National Assembly was informed during question time on Thursday that the relevant authorities have blocked 6.5 million blasphemous and obscene postings within a single year. The issue was raised by PPP legislator Syed Hussain Tariq.
He said that despite blocking millions of websites through the web monitoring system, online fraud sites remain active.
He said parliamentarians were still receiving messages through such fraudulent platforms and demanded to know what actions have been taken
against them.
