ISLAMABAD:
The 10th ECO Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction concluded on Thursday with the adoption of the Islamabad Declaration, pledging stronger regional cooperation and disaster resilience.
Reaffirming their collective commitment, ECO member states pledged to strengthen regional cooperation, increase resilience to disasters and ensure a coordinated response to future emergencies.
The conclusion of the 10th ECO Ministerial Meeting marks a renewed collective resolve to translate regional commitments into concrete action, strengthen disaster resilience and protect communities across the ECO region.
