ISLAMABAD:
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Friday informed the Senate that a bailout package worth Rs 1.5 billion has been proposed to address the financial crisis faced by the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST).
Responding to a notice raised by Senator Sarmad Ali, the Minister said that the Prime Minister had earlier approved a similar bailout for Quaid-e-Azam University. He said all financial problems with FUUAST would be resolved once the proposed bailout is approved.
