The National Assembly on Friday rejected media reports that claimed its official YouTube channel had been shut down, clarifying that the platform remained active and that a brief interruption was caused by temporary technical problems rather than any deliberate suspension.
The clarification came after reports circulated in sections of the media claiming that the National Assembly’s YouTube channel had “disappeared”, with live proceedings normally broadcast on the platform and on state television not being aired over the past few days. The allegations emerged when a joint session of Parliament was held in Islamabad on Friday.
