Despite having a friend who works in the wine industry and has watched four episodes of God’s dropsI only know the names of a few different types of wine and today’s search covered practically all of them. That said, I found this a difficult one.
Apart from the fact that they are all grape varieties, I don’t think there is any other connection – they are not even all red wines, with CHARDONNAY representing white grapes.
Kudos to the corkscrew spanframe, though. Very clever.

Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-anymore word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a full-fledged member of NYT’s game stable that’s been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
