ISLAMABAD:
President Asif Ali Zardari said Pakistan remains committed to promoting harmony among religions and contributing constructively to global peace and understanding.
In a message on the occasion of World Interfaith Harmony Week to be observed from February 1 to 7, 2026, he said: “I extend my warm greetings to the people of Pakistan and to the international community. This observance reminds us of the shared values of peace, compassion, mutual respect and coexistence.”
“Our Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and equal rights to all citizens, regardless of creed or creed,” he said.
