In retrospect, I can see that this game was about Dungeons and Dragons, the fantasy role-playing game that, according to legend, was first played in February 1974.
But initially, and while searching, I thought it was only about hobbies, something that seeing HOBBYSHOP confirmed.
The real thrill for me in this game was seeing two seven letter words that weren’t games since I usually only see four letter words when I move around the boards and need a hint.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-anymore word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a full-fledged member of NYT’s game stable that’s been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
