ISLAMABAD:
The FIA on Wednesday informed a banking tribunal that it has closed the case in the foreign funding case against the PTI founder and others, with a formal submission expected in the next few days after the completion of procedural requirements.
Bankruptcy Court Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar heard the case, during which Special Prosecutor Wasiq Malik appeared for the prosecution.
The investigating officer told the court that the case had been closed and handed over to the relevant authorities. He added that the Deputy Legal Director would soon complete the remaining legal process.
