Despite living in Puerto Rico, Jake Paul won’t be supporting his neighbor during the break.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer condemned Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show about two hours before kickoff, imploring fans to realize they “have the power” to use their votes.
“Deliberately turning off the hiatus show. Let’s get together and show big business that they can’t just do whatever they want with no consequences (which equals ratings for them),” Paul wrote to X. “You are their advantage. Realize you have power. Turn off this hiatus.”

Paul then called Bad Bunny “a pretend American citizen who publicly hates America.”
“I can’t support that,” Paul continued.
The artist received both praise and backlash for his “ICE out” comments at the Grammys last week. Bad Bunny said last fall that he decided to do his residency shows in his native Puerto Rico and did not book any US dates on his tour due to fears that his fans would be detained by ICE agents.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., said he will avoid Bad Bunny’s performance in the “Woke Bowl”.
“And we have Bad Bunny, or Bad Rabbit, at halftime. I’ll see (Turning Point USA) halftime show. It’s just unfortunate that we’ve gotten to this point,” Tuberville said.
Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre also said he would tune in to Turning Point USA’s “The All-American Halftime Show,” saying he didn’t know who Bad Bunny was.
Earlier this weekend, Paul defended ICE agents after watching some Olympic hockey with Vice President JD Vance.
