David Thewlis, best known to fans as Professor Remus Lupine in Harry Potter movie, is tired of being asked the same question over and over again.
speaks to Screen timelaughed the 62-year-old actor as he admitted he’s had “quite a few” questions about reprising his role.
He also made it clear that he will not visit the wizarding world again.
“I feel like I’d be way too old to play my original character and no, I don’t want to go back to that… I’m tired of talking about it, frankly,” he said.
Although he is not interested in returning, Thewlis acknowledged the positive impact the franchise had on young audiences.
“…with Harry Potter it’s children. And children are very kind impressed and very overwhelmed, and it’s very nice to make children happy,” he reflected.
For the uninitiated, HBO’s upcoming reimagining of JK Rowling’s beloved series will feature Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, Arabella Stanton as Hermione and Alastair Stout as Ron.
