In Peshawar, a ban has been imposed on opening CNG stations under Section 144 due to a drop in Sui gas pressure as the stations remain closed till January 19.

According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar, private consumers are facing difficulties due to reduced gas pressure.

To ensure sufficient gas supply for households, a ban has been placed on CNG stations in the city.

Under Section 144, opening of CNG stations will be prohibited and any violation will lead to legal action.

As a result of the CNG station closures, rickshaw drivers have started using gas cylinders, leading to an increase in fares.
