Prince Harry was unable to hold back tears as he met with grieving Britons following their precious loss.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are very vocal about creating safe online spaces for children, are back in the headlines as a new legal battle begins against tech giants to hold them accountable.
In Los Angeles, Harry met with British families who claim the negative effects of social media took the lives of their children.
In a video shared by BBC breakfastKing Charles’ son became visibly emotional as he praised the bravery of bereaved parents for coming forward and standing tall to fight for safe digital spaces.
According to Daily MailMeghan also accompanied her husband, who acknowledged the families for “telling your stories over and over” with hopes of seeking “truth, justice and accountability.”
Addressing the people present at the somber gathering, Harry said,
“We have said time and again that this is a David versus Goliath situation. I myself have been in similar situations, very different.”
The Duke of Sussex cited his legal battles and how “the other side” in court leaves one feeling overwhelmed with emotion.
“Don’t feel ashamed, don’t feel worried. Even if – as I heard – the judge turned around and told you not to show emotion,” Harry informed.
At the end of his message, the father of Archie and Lilibet expressed gratitude to all parents for sharing their perspectives as they aim to create a healthy online environment for children.
