- New Netflix horror series Something very bad is going to happen drops first official teaser
- Stars Camila Morrone, Adam DiMarco, Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome as series regulars
- The eight-episode series will stream on March 26, 2026
The first official teaser trailer for the new Netflix horror series Something very bad is going to happen is here, and it’s given us an unfettered look at what’s coming our way on March 26.
Starring Camila Morrone, Adam DiMarco, Jeff Wilbusch and Karla Crome, the eight-episode show is described by the streamer as “an atmospheric horror series set at a wedding that follows a bride and groom in the week leading up to their ill-fated wedding. That’s not a spoiler – just read the title.”
Yikes. I’m already horrified at the first look alone (which you can catch up on below), and I have a feeling it’s only scratching the surface.
Something Very Bad is Going to Happen is already a Netflix nightmare for elusive attachers
Look at
Let’s dig a little deeper into Netflix’s full series synopsis. It begins “If Carrie is horror’s version of a girl becoming a woman, and Rosemary’s baby is the horrible version of a woman becoming a mother, Something very bad is going to happen is the horror of a woman becoming a wife.”
Already terrible for many of us back on Hinge and Tinder. I have been accused of having an avoidant attachment style in my younger years, but perhaps that was a blessing in disguise if the above is the alternative.
“Rachel (Camila Morrone) is getting married in five days. Along with her fiance, Nicky (Adam DiMarco), she embarks on a road trip to his family’s vacation home, secluded in a snowy forest, for the intimate wedding ceremony of their dreams.
“Which would really be so lovely, except…prone to superstition and paranoia, Rachel can’t shake the relentless feeling that something bad is going to happen. Her foreboding doubts, combined with a series of eerie coincidences and terrible surprises, force her to ask the question: What makes two people soulmates? And worse than the wrong person, what could be scarier than lifelong commitment?”
My toes curl at the thought of watching Something very bad is going to happen, and the pressure is on if Carrie and Rosemary’s baby – two of the best horror films of all time – are its immediate comparisons.
But I’m a hopeful girl, for my own love life and for this show to live up to my sky-high expectations. Join me on March 26th, even if I’m hiding behind my hands.
