ISLAMABAD:
Amid political speculation sparked by his earlier remarks on PTI founder Imran Khan’s alleged refusal to accept a “deal”, Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Friday clarified that his comments had been made in a specific context related to the November 24 protest.
Speaking during a private television program, Sanaullah said his statement was only about the PTI founder’s stand during the protest episode and did not refer to any secret reconciliation or political arrangement.
He said at the time that Imran Khan had not been willing to back down from his stance on the protest.
