Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in Italy on an important visit, where he will meet the interior ministers of three countries. According to Express News, the interior ministers of Italy, Greece and Spain will hold meetings with Mohsin Naqvi.

The interior ministers of Italy, Greece and Spain will recognize the efforts of Pakistan’s interior ministry to curb illegal immigration.

According to a statement, a police officer from Punjab will brief the home ministers on the Punjab government’s Police Khidmat Markaz Global initiative, which has received appreciation across Europe. Other important issues will also be discussed in detail during the meeting of the interior ministers.

Under Spain’s new residency scheme, eligible overseas Pakistanis will initially be issued one-year residency cards, with a pathway to permanent residency and citizenship available after seven to eight years.
