Clearing operations are still underway to eliminate all other Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area, the military said
ISLAMABAD:
Security forces killed ten terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed proxy group Fitna al-Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Zhob District, Balochistan, the military’s media wing said in a statement.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), following an intelligence-based operation in Zhob on February 24, in which eight Indian-sponsored khawarij was neutralized, security forces conducted a massive decontamination operation in the area on 25 February to hunt down remaining members associated with the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij.
“During the operation, our forces tracked them down kbreakdown on multiple routes and effectively engaged their locations. After a subsequent firefight, ten Indian were sponsored kbreakdown was eliminated,” the military said.
The ISPR further stated that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered kbreakdownwho had been actively involved in several terrorist activities in the area. It added that decontamination operations are underway to eliminate all other Indian-sponsored terrorists found in the region.
“Relentless counter-terrorism campaigns under the vision of ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ (as endorsed by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan) by Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full speed to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the statement concluded.
