NEW Strands today (game #729) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #729, are…
- PANTRY
- WIFI
- PRINTER
- STALLS
- SLICE
- LOUNGE
- SPANGRAM: COWORKINGSPACE
- My assessment: Hard
- My score: Perfect
The first word I got was PANTRY, which made no sense in the context of the “alternative home office” theme. Luckily I found WIFI and PRINTER next door and managed the situation.
I’ve only used a WeWork-style CoWORKINGSPACE a few times.
Fortunately, I’m happy to knock on my own home, but I can definitely see the appeal of separating home life from work life, sharing small talk with strangers, and being able to use a PRINTER without spending half your paycheck on ink.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Sunday, March 1, Game #728)
- SCOLD
- UPGRADE
- REPRIMAND
- FOREMAN
- CASTORS
- SPANGRAM: THERIOTACT
