Hello everyone and welcome to the start of my Nintendo Indie World Showcase coverage!
I’ll stick with you as the event approaches and then share a steady stream of announcements and my thoughts on them as they come in.
Only 50 minutes left!

There are only 50 minutes until the Indie World Showcase begins.
The stream is currently in a waiting room-like state on YouTube, so you can tune in and make sure you’re there the second it starts.
How long is today’s Indie World Showcase?
Nintendo has already confirmed that today’s Indie World Showcase will last around 15 minutes.
That’s about the same length as previous shows, and based on these events, it will likely mean around 16 or 17 games will be shown in total.
What kind of games should I expect?

Indie World Showcases are, as the name suggests, dedicated to indie games – titles from smaller teams that might not be featured in a regular Nintendo Direct.
This means you won’t be seeing big Nintendo franchises like Super Mario here. These are third-party titles that are generally quite small in scope.
Here are some examples of titles that appeared in past Indie World Showcases to give you a rough idea of what to expect:
Ball x Pit
Mina Hollower
Little Kitty, big city
UFO 50
Small bookstore
Caves of Qud
Today is an important anniversary

Away from the Nintendo Indie World coverage for a moment, did you remember that today is an important anniversary?
It’s been nine years since the release of the original Nintendo Switch. You read that right, it’s been nine whole years!
The console was originally launched on March 3, 2017.
Barely ten minutes left everyone!
