Chiefs star Chris Jones cries during the national anthem ahead of the playoff game against the Texans

The NFL playoffs bring out emotions in everyone.

Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones began to cry as gospel vocalist Lanell Lightfoot sang the national anthem before their playoff game against the Houston Texans at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

It wasn’t the first time Jones cried during the national anthem. Prior to the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers last season, Jones also broke down in tears during the national anthem.

Jones has already made his presence felt when he recorded a sack on CJ Stroud in the first quarter.
