Google has been quietly making Gmail, Docs and other Workspace apps work better with OpenClaw

  • Google has released “one CLI for all of Google Workspace”
  • There is even a set of instructions specific to OpenClaw
  • It’s “not an officially supported Google product…” for now

Google has released a Command Line Interface (CLI) to GitHub that effectively enables AI agents to connect more easily with Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Google Drive, and Docs/Sheets/Slides.

The change clearly recognizes the rise of personal AI assistants, like OpenClaw, which are able to act autonomously on the user’s behalf.
