Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a risky move that invited anger ahead of their recently announced Australia tour.
For the uninitiated, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex accepted an invitation sent by Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), to visit Jordan recently.
On their two-day humanitarian visit to the war-torn country in February, Harry and Meghan traveled to Amman to undertake a series of engagements highlighting the meaningful work being done for the affected communities.
From visiting a refugee camp to being part of a WHO roundtable, the Sussexes made their trip look like royalty, several experts said.
Among them was also Sky News Australia journalist Louise Roberts, who strongly criticized Harry and Meghan for using their royal ties for their own benefit.
She gave a solution to the royals which could be harmful to the Sussexes.
The TV personality said: “Increasingly, the only solution seems to be that Meghan and Harry can be stripped of their titles so that no one can mistake them for working royals.”
This comes amid the buzz Harry and Meghan have once again created with confirmation of their upcoming tour to Australia.
The couple “will visit Australia in mid-April to attend a number of private, business and philanthropic engagements,” their spokesman said.
However, details regarding the visit will be revealed in due course.
