Ravens pull out of trade deal with Las Vegas Raiders for Maxx Crosby

The Baltimore Ravens are pulling out of a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders for star edge rusher Maxx Crosby, the Raiders announced Tuesday.

“The Baltimore Ravens have pulled out of our trade agreement for Maxx Crosby. We will have no further comment at this time,” the Raiders said.

The Raiders would have received two first-round picks from the Ravens, including the No. 14 overall pick in next month’s NFL Draft, a report said.

Crosby, 28, had 10 sacks last season and has reached double figures four times in his seven seasons.

The Raiders last appeared in the playoffs in 2021 and have gone 7-27 over the past two seasons. They have No. 1 pick in 2026 draft, which is expected to land them Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

The Ravens are entering a new era after firing longtime head coach John Harbaugh and replacing him with former Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter.

But it appears the new regime won’t make the big move to sign established veteran Crosby.
