NEW Strands today (game #738) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #738, are…
- ARMOR
- CAMOUFLAGE
- AGILITY
- DISTRACTION
- MIMIC
- SPANGRAM: DEFENSE
- My assessment: Hard
- My score: 2 hints
This was a great game with, somewhat ironically, some very well hidden and very difficult words.
Despite getting the hardest word in the game – CAMOUFLAGE – I needed hints to get me the two easiest ones. That said, AGILITY is not the most obvious of DEFENSE.
Sometimes I wonder how I would fare if I were shrunk down to the size of a mouse and became the prey of my pet cats. Of all the types of survival techniques available in today’s games, I think the one I’d try is DISTRACTION – by the time I’m done belching the alphabet, they’d either be too sad, confused, or rebellious to bother me.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Tuesday, March 10, Game #738)
- HELLO
- HOW
- WELCOME
- GREETING
- AHOY
- GREETING
- SPANGRAM: GOOD DAY
