How much time does AI really save your employees? Apparently only 16 minutes per week – as ‘time saved to generate content is absorbed by the time required to rely on it’

  • Workers and managers get just 14-16 minutes of net time savings from AI, claims report
  • Most time saved is spent on fact-checking and validation of output
  • Most managers say they plan to retrain and upskill employees

Most managers (89%) and workers (79%) now agree that while AI improves productivity, exactly how much time it saves is up for debate.

New research from Foxit suggests the real-time gains may be minimal compared to the potential, simply because of the amount of time workers need to trust and understand AI tools.
