Cardi B has demand for Canadian fans before tour stop: ‘I swear to God’

Cardi B has a message for her Canadian fans, and she doesn’t hold back.

The Grammy-winning rapper has called out slow ticket sales for her upcoming Little Miss Drama tour stop in Hamilton, Ontario, and made it very clear what she expects them to do about it.

Heading to X, Cardi B revealed that her March 31 date at the TD Coliseum in Hamilton was about 80 percent sold out, with a look at the Ticketmaster listing confirming that there are still plenty of seats available.

For an artist who has sold out arenas across North America, that was not acceptable.

“And I’m telling you Canadians, if you break my sellout line, I don’t know what to do… But you better buy them tickets,” she said.

She wasn’t done there either.

“I swear to God if you break my streak – you better buy tickets. You’re not breaking my perfect sell-out streak,” she repeated.

It’s a cool tactic, but it’s one she’s tried before.

Back in February, she issued an almost identical warning to Vancouver fans ahead of her Feb. 21 Rogers Arena show, writing on X: “Five sold out shows back to back… packed to the brim! Vancouver better not break my streak.”

Vancouver, it seems, has gotten the message.

The Little Miss Drama tour, which supports Cardi B’s second studio album Am I the drama?started in Palm Desert, California and runs through to a final in Atlanta.

She recently sold out two back-to-back nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and she’s kept that streak going ever since.

Hamilton has been warned.
