ISLAMABAD:
Chairman Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Senator Dr. Rubina Khalid on Thursday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed issues related to the programme.
During the meeting, Senator Rubina Khalid briefed the Prime Minister about the overall performance and current operations of BISP. She also informed him about the progress in the distribution of the Ramazan relief package among deserving beneficiaries, according to a press release issued by PM House.
A day earlier, the Prime Minister ordered that payments under the program must be made through digital ‘Social Protection Wallets’.
