I struggled to see the game word of the day – once again taking the theme literally and looking for words associated with the seasons rather than the rolled up form.
A few hints failed to speed me up, but when I saw the CORK STRAIGHT – which I was sure would be the spanframe – I was on my way.
I actually had the words “twist” and “turn” in my non-gaming vocabulary and didn’t realize they belonged in the game until SPIRAL and HELIX made the connection easy.
