Meghan Markle has found a kindred spirit in Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
According to an insider, Aniston is impressed by Meghan’s resilience in the face of public scrutiny and is ready to let the Duchess of Sussex into her small circle of friends.
“Jen knows what it’s like to be in the public eye and under scrutiny, so she has a lot of empathy for Meghan and thinks the way she’s been treated is pretty diabolical,” the insider says. Life & Style. “At the same time, she’s really impressed with how Meghan has shown such resilience.”
The Friends star “admires how [Meghan]’s remained strong and stuck to its principles through it all,” says the mole.
They continued: “They have Oprah as a mutual friend and don’t forget Courteney [Cox] is friendly with Harry, so there is already some common ground. Jen is very selective about who she lets into her circle, so she’s been taking things pretty slow with Meghan, but word is she’s ready to welcome her.”
The source also said that the rumor about the Murder Mystery actress snubbed Meghan while she was working on it Terrible bosses is not true.
They explained: “There’s been this rumor that Jen rejected Meghan years ago when they were working on Horrible Bosses, but that’s just not true. Meghan had such a small role that they hardly worked together, but it was no reflection on Meghan or how Jen felt about her. Anyone talking about that clearly has no idea how filming works.”
