NEW Strands today (game #748) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #748, are…
- SCHNOZZLE
- MOUSE
- SNOW
- HUTTER
- BEAK
- PROBOSCIS
- SPANGRAM: ONTHENOSE
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
As someone who has suffered with what feels like a never-ending cold, today’s quest felt very ONTHENOSE.
As well as immediately knowing what today’s search was about, there was also the unusual sight of four letter Z’s which could only mean SCHNOZZLE (a fun word to say no matter how you feel) and MUZZLE.
Between the sneezes there were plenty of spelling challenges to juggle, not least PROBOSCIS, a word I associate with the aberrace with a fabulous and very photogenic HONKER.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Friday, March 20, Game #747)
- COIL
- GYRE
- CORK PULLERS
- CURLY
- HELIX
- THE SPIRAL SHAPE
- SPANGRAM: REVERSAL
