Today’s theme made me think of the children’s storybook We’re going bear hunting by Michael Rosen, with its repeated refrain of “we can’t go over it, we can’t go under it, oh no! we’ve got to go through it!”
Actually, I wasn’t as far off as I realized after separately finding OBSTACLE and COURSE and then putting them together for today’s giant curled slide of a spangram.
In the UK we have a popular event called Tough Mudder which basically involves people climbing over things before climbing through mud. I did it once, but it’s a young man’s game, so I decided to dedicate my free time to word searches instead.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Monday, March 23, Game #750)
- SNAP
- CRACK
- SPLINTER
- BREAK
- BREAK
- SPANGRAM: ADVANTAGE
