The investment environment is improving and investor confidence is strengthening in Pakistan due to the support of SIFC, Radio Pakistan reported on Tuesday.
In the first eight months of the current fiscal year, profits and dividends to foreign investors reached $1.73 billion, which is 10.52 percent higher than last year.
According to Finance Minister’s adviser Khurram Schehzad, an independent survey shows that confidence in foreign investors operating in Pakistan has increased. He mentioned that around 60% of investors considered Pakistan a suitable place to invest two years ago and this figure has now increased to 75%.
