Security sources said on Wednesday that Operation Ghazab Lil Haq resumed after a temporary pause in deference to Eidul Fitr celebrations and requests from Islamic countries. “This break ended at midnight between March 23 and 24,” they added.
Operation Ghazab Lil Haq was launched last month following renewed clashes along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border after Afghan Taliban forces fired at several locations, prompting swift military retaliation from Pakistan.
Security sources said the operations were an ongoing, precise and targeted military campaign targeting terrorist leadership, their support and command infrastructures, logistics networks and all facilitators and facilitators under the Afghan Taliban regime-controlled areas.
The operation will continue until its objective is fully achieved. “The Afghan Taliban regime must reassess its priorities and shift its focus from supporting terrorist proxies to the welfare of the Afghan people and Pakistan,” the sources added.
