Love it or hate it, you can’t deny that Apple has produced some classic technology over the past 50 years. And as we approach its big anniversary on April 1st, it’s time to finally put an end to an age-old debate – what is the best Apple gadget of all time?
It’s a tough question, so we really need your help to decide. Vote in the poll below and we’ll collate all the answers to give you the final, indisputable answer to that question in the form of a new final list that we’ll publish next week.
Even the creation of our long list below sparked a lot of debate on TechRadar, so it will be fascinating to see which gadgets are the final winners. Apologies in advance if your favorite model of iPod, iMac or MacBook didn’t make the cut – but we think all of Apple’s most acclaimed gadgets are in there.

The spark for all this Apple nostalgia is the company’s 50th anniversary, which is on April 1st. We still don’t know exactly how Apple will celebrate the day, but there will be some uncharacteristic commemorations.
“In the coming weeks, Apple and its global community will celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary, recognizing the creativity, innovation and impact that people around the world have made possible with Apple technology,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said on March 12.
