Zayn Malik celebrates 10 years with his debut solo album Mind of Min with a heartfelt message.
Earlier this week, the former One Direction star took to his Instagram Stories to post a short video of himself sharing the milestone with his followers.
Wearing a black leather jacket Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker expressed his gratitude for all the love this whole time.
“Zayn here,” he began in the short clip. “It is exactly 10 years since the publication of Mind of Mindso I thought I’d make a little video just to say thank you for all the support.”
“Love you,” the Die for me continued the singer. “It means the world.”
He ended the personal video message, joking, “hopefully I don’t look too old,” flashing a bright smile and waving to his admirers.
For the uninitiated, Zayn, now 32, released Mind of Minhis debut solo studio album on March 25, 2016.
It was released exactly one year after his departure from the boy band, consisting of Liam Payne (late), Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.
The lead single, Pillow talkdebuted at number one in both the UK and US, making Zayn the first British male artist to achieve this with a debut single.
He fell Just like I wanted to as the second official single, leaning more towards an uptempo, dance-pop sound.
A collaboration, with the title Wrongfeaturing American singer Kehlani served as the final single from the album.
In addition, a remarkable track Break: Flower, a Sufi devotional sung in Urdu that reflects Zayn’s British-Pakistani heritage.
