HARIPUR:
Haripur police officials have been warned against posting videos in police uniforms and carrying firearms online.
According to officials, Hazara Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Nasir Mehmood Satti has decided to take action against those involved in creating TikTok videos and maintaining links with criminal elements.
DIG stated that corruption, involvement in crime and associations with criminals will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Addressing a police gathering in Haripur, DIG stressed that police officers and personnel attached to development projects and industrial areas should be on high alert at all times.
He urged officers to treat citizens visiting police offices with courtesy and to offer all possible legal assistance.
He also directed that personal promotion on social media platforms should be avoided and departmental action will be taken against any employees violating this directive.
During his visit to Haripur, DIG Nasir Mehmood Satti listened to the concerns of the police employees and issued immediate instructions to resolve their problems.
He also visited the office of the District Police Officer, inspected the command and control room and reviewed various departments of the department and gave guidance and feedback on their operations.
