I was in love with Meta’s ‘most comfortable glasses ever’ and then I saw the price tag

Meta has just debuted a duo of new AI eyewear styles in its Ray-Ban line with smart specs, designed for people with prescriptions with designs aimed at “all-day wear.”

These new Blayzer and Scriber Optics shapes support “nearly all prescriptions” at launch (-6 to +6, with support for people with astigmatism as well), and according to Meta, they’re the company’s most comfortable AI glasses yet, with over-extension hinges, interchangeable nose pads, and optician-adjustable temple tips that allow you to get a smart fit from all your glasses.

I already find the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses I own comfortable, but I have a few tweaks I’d make if I could – the replaceable nose pads, for example, would be a big help in getting my specs to fit better. The only downside is that these new glasses are quite a bit more expensive than Meta’s standard Ray-Ban smart glasses
