Vanessa Trump is standing by Tiger Woods following his DUI arrest, with reports confirming the pair have no plans to divorce, although sources suggest her support comes with an unspoken deadline.
Trump, who has been dating Woods for over a year, has spoken to his girlfriend about the car crash and arrest, but the two are not arguing about it, according to TMZ.
She is described as “completely supportive” of him as he appears to be getting back on track and there has been “absolutely no talk of breaking up.”
But a separate source from Daily Mail paints a more complicated picture.
According to an insider, Trump’s initial concern turned to frustration after Woods allegedly brushed off the seriousness of the situation.
“She was like, ‘let’s work this out together,’ and his response was basically, ‘yeah yeah yeah, I get it. It’s fine. It’s under control,'” the source claimed.
“And she says, ‘It’s so obviously out of control.'”
The source was direct about where things stand.
“She needs stability, and this is not stable. If he can’t fix this, she’s going to go 100 percent. She’s trying to make that clear without it sounding like an ultimatum, but it obviously is.”
The mother of five has previously been described as deeply committed to the relationship.
A source said PEOPLE that Trump and Woods are “in love,” though the same insider noted that Woods can be “hard to be around” at times because of the pain he’s dealing with after multiple surgeries.
“It’s serious, but Tiger has yet to look in the mirror and say, ‘You’re 50 years old and act like it,'” the source added.
Woods broke his silence Tuesday, announcing he was stepping away from golf to seek treatment and focus on his health.
He has pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge, dropped his arraignment and demanded a jury trial, according to court documents obtained by Page six.
