David Schwimmer reflected on celebrating the 30th anniversary of the famous sitcom Friendsalmost 12 months after the tragic passing of his co-star Mathew Perry.
The 58-year-old actor, who played Ross Geller in the famous sitcom, in an interview with Smallzy’s surgery show revealed, “I happened to be back in Los Angeles around the day that marked the 30th year that we were on the air.”
The Friends: Revisited actor went on to say, “I took [Matt] LeBlanc out to dinner, actually, and we reminisced and we toasted the 30 years.”
According to Schwimmer, it’s amazing. “I mean, it’s amazing. It’s amazing to me that people still watch and find it funny and comforting,” the actor said, adding, “And I feel nothing but gratitude, really.”
Earlier in September 2024 was Goosebumps Star was told in an interview that Perry had a high opinion of his professionalism, to which the actor surprisingly responded, saying that he did not expect to hear such a compliment from the late star, as he rarely expressed his feelings.
“It’s interesting for a lot of reasons to hear that,” he said, adding, “It’s a huge compliment and I’m surprised to hear that because Matthew was reserved with me, he didn’t want to tell me that. But I appreciate it very much.”
Perry, who played a popular role as Chandler Bing Friendsdied in 2023 at the age of 54, due to an overdose of ketamine.
