Prince Harry ‘boosts’ firefighters’ morale amid LA fires

Firefighters are at the forefront of the fight against deadly fires in LA and Prince Harry continues to support them in their work.

This week the Duke of Sussex visited the Salinas fire department in California. There he raised the “morale” of the crews and stroked the fire brigade’s therapy dogs.

In the post on Instagram, the department shared, “Cruz and Taffy, Facility Dog’s with the Salinas Fire Dept, along with their friends have been actively assisting in efforts to fight the LA fires and providing much needed support to firefighters and affected communities.”

“In an inspiring turn of events, they also had the opportunity to meet Prince Harry, who is known for his philanthropic work and advocacy on various social issues, including disaster relief,” the caption reads.

“This meeting not only boosted their morale but also emphasized the importance of community and cooperation in the face of such devastating challenges,” it concluded.

However, Harry was alone when he visited the department, but he and his wife Meghan Markle had previously donated to the emergency relief efforts from wildfires in Los Angeles.
