Xbox is reportedly planning to roll out a new Game Pass tier that will be bundled with a Discord Nitro subscription.
Earlier this week, after the company announced a price cut for Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma teased a new Discord partnership as part of an effort to “make Game Pass more flexible for our players.”
While the official announcement has yet to be made, new leaks have claimed that the partnership will introduce a new Game Pass tier called “Starter Edition” that will be bundled with Discord Nitro.

That’s according to a datamine posted on ResetEra (via VGC ), which claims that “Xbox Game Pass (Starter Edition) is now included with Nitro.”
“Subscribe to Nitro and get access to Xbox Game Pass (Starter Edition), gear deals, new Orbs perks and more,” reads one of the datamined text strings.
It claims that “50+ games like Stardew Valley, Fallout 4and Grounded,” will also be included in the bundle, as well as “10 hours of cloud gaming every month” for select titles and Xbox Rewards.
“All yours with Nitro,” reads the post. “Up to $25/year in store with rewards.”
The way things have been moving recently, Xbox could soon officially announce the details of its Discord partnership.
Elsewhere, it is claimed that the company is also reportedly working on a new Game Pass plan that will allow users to choose the content of their membership.
This comes after Xbox dropped the price of Game Pass Ultimate from $29.99 per month to $22.99, and PC Game Pass from $16.49 to $13.99 per month. New Call of Duty titles will also no longer be Day-1 launch offers.
