A police constable was martyred after terrorists launched a brazen attack on a check post in Killi Harmezai area of ​​Balochistan’s Pishin district on Monday night.
According to police sources, unknown terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on the check post in Harmezai region. The sudden assault left Hawaldar Nematullah critically injured. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, but succumbed to his injuries.

The attackers managed to flee the scene shortly after the firing. In response, security forces quickly cordoned off the entire area and launched a large-scale search operation to nab the culprits.
Hawaldar Nematullah was a seasoned and respected member of the local police force, known among colleagues for his commitment to duty.
Senior police officials reached the hospital to condole the bereaved family. Balochistan police strongly condemned the dastardly attack and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Balochistan has been under constant terrorist attacks.
On Saturday, security forces killed five terrorists in an intelligence-led operation in Noshki, hours after two separate attacks on police stations in Noshki and Kachhi districts.
Last week, a police chief was martyred and six persons, including a sub-inspector of the Counter Terrorism Department, were seriously injured in a fierce exchange of fire during a targeted operation against terrorists in the Dasht area.
Last month, two policemen were martyred when unidentified suspects opened fire on an Eagle Squad team on the Eastern Bypass.
