Thick as thievesthe latest game controlled by legendary Deus Ex and Thief: Deadly Shadows studio director Warren Spector, will launch at an absolute steal of a price.
Developer OtherSide Entertainment has confirmed that the game will cost just $4.99 / £4.99 when it arrives on PC on May 20, 2026. And yes, I promise that’s not a typo – in the era of $70 releases, you’re getting a brand new game for just five bucks here.
Set in the alternate Scottish town of Kilcairn, it follows a gang of thieves who pull off daring heists in elaborate, heavily guarded mansions armed with a set of conventional tools like pickaxes and smoke grenades, as well as some more unusual magical abilities. It can be solo or online in co-op with friends.

At launch, Thick as thieves will feature two huge maps designed with multiple playthroughs in mind, plus 16 missions to tackle and six pieces of gear to mess around with.
The developers estimate that everything will take around four hours to complete, though I imagine it will be easy to extend that runtime by going back to explore the maps further, especially since they’re meant to change dynamically with each playthrough.
The team intends to expand the offering with future content as well, with development based on how players engage with this initial pack.
