Ubisoft has shared the content roadmap for its free-to-play mobile game The resurgence of the departmentalong with a release window for the PC version.
As detailed in a recent blog post, the company announced that The resurgence of the department will come to PC in Season 2, which is slated for an August release, but an early access build is now available for tech testing.
“From today you can play The resurgence of the department on Ubisoft Connect and enjoy cross-progression and cross-platform support so you can jump in at home or on the go,” Ubisoft said. “Your game progression from Early Access will also carry over when Resurgence will officially launch on PC in Season 2.”

As for the rest of the schedule, a new season will launch every four months, with each season introducing new stages every six weeks that deliver new content.
The next phase of Season 1 officially begins on May 12, bringing limited-time events like the Dark Zone and Speed Run challenges, as well as new cosmetic sets including camouflage and exotic weapon skins.
The update also introduces the Classified Ops pass 1.2, which includes rewards such as a Strawberry Milkshake free exotic weapon, Pyromaniac full clothing set, and Hot Rod weapon skin.
Phase 3 of Season 1 is scheduled for a June 23 release, and its Classified Ops pass 1.3 will include a Scorpio free exotic weapon, Freemen full outfit, and Boombox weapon skin.
As mentioned above, Season 2 will arrive in August, followed by Season 3 in December, which will also arrive with a “major story expansion,” but details about that are being kept under wraps for now.
The resurgence of the department is great for The division universe and is available to play on mobile devices and now PC in early access. Executive producer Fabrice Navrez has previously said he’s “very happy” with the touch controls, but says players can choose to play with a controller if they prefer.
