The 2026 blockbuster season is almost upon us – and TechRadar’s entertainment team needs your help deciding what the most anticipated movies of the summer (or winter) will be!
A host of exciting new films covering countless genres and different age groups are set to hit cinemas between now and the start of September. With the first Star Wars film in nearly seven years, the first Marvel film of 2026 and new sci-fi and historical epics from award-winning filmmakers Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan respectively, there will be plenty to choose from in the coming weeks and months.

It’s a lot tougher than you originally expected, right? As a huge Spider-Man fan, I wanted to go for it Spider-Man: Brand New Daywhich is the first of two Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films to hit theaters this year.
However, there are plenty of other exciting options that also deserve to be picked in May and June. Do you want to go all-in? Mandalorian and Grogu end of may? How about the next installment in Pixar’s long-running Toy Story movie franchise? Or how about plumping for DC over Marvel and checking out Supergirl?
Spider-Man 4 despite, July will also bring us the previously mentioned offers from Spielberg and Nolan in Disclosure Day and The Odyssey — will you choose one of the pair? Or will you wait until August to catch the latest Sneak film or another animated-live-action hybrid film i Coyote vs Acme?
