NEW Strands today (game #792) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #792, are…
- CEDAR
- ASPEN
- DOGWOOD
- BIRCH
- CYPRESS
- EUCALYPTUS
- SPAN FRAME: BRANCHES
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
May 4th is of course “May the Fourth/Force be with you” day, but “forest” seems to be stretching the pun a bit too far, unless we’re discussing the Forest Moon of Endor, Takodana, which we obviously aren’t.
Instead, this was a search for trees found in forests and woodlands, made more complex by some tricky twists and turns to connect the letters.
The game’s longest word, EUCALYPTUS, was my last find – not the most obvious of trees, so I’ll forgive myself for not seeing it sooner.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Sunday, May 3, Game #791)
- STRANGE
- SPECIALLY
- STRANGE
- UNUSUAL
- BIZARRE
- AWFUL
- SPANGRAM: THATSODD
