Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni may have officially settled their major affair, but the drama between them still isn’t quite over.
Just days after the It Ends With Us settlement, Lively is now asking the court to compel Baldoni to pay her legal costs and additional damages related to his previous defamation case against her.
The previous case demanded huge sums but was already rejected by a judge.
The 38-year-old actress’ legal team is also pushing for additional fines, saying the lawsuit caused real harm and should not have been brought in the first place.
However, they argue that people should not face bogus lawsuits or retaliation when they raise serious complaints.
Although both sides recently agreed to settle, there was no apology from either side and no money exchanged in the final settlement, surprising many who followed the case.
Baldoni’s side says this new request won’t change much and that the judge will make the final call anyway.
So, even after the settlement, the issue is not quite finished yet. Instead, it has moved into a second round of legal arguments that keep the situation alive in the public eye.
