Richard Holliday – the “most marketable” man in professional wrestling – will bring his talents to Battle for the Brave: Wrestling Showcase for Heroes on June 6 in Rahway, New Jersey.
The event, hosted by TNA Wrestling star and US Marine veteran Steve Maclin and Ring of Honor pure champion Deonna Purrazzo, will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Holliday spoke with Pakinomist Digital about why he decided to attend the event.

“It’s a huge deal,” Holliday said. “How could I say no to that? I’m very proud of what Steve and Deonna are doing and to include me as a part of it, that’s huge. How could I possibly say no to that? So I’m really looking forward to that event.
“In fact, they were both part of the event that I put on, Narcissistic Behavior in August 2025, which was really known as the best independent show of that year, and I have no doubt that Steve and Deonna will probably have the biggest single independent event in 2026. It’s going to be a huge event. Be.”
Holliday will be part of the Battle for the Brave Cup – a 12-man gauntlet match that starts as a battle royal and turns into a match when there are two competitors left.

Maclin, Megan Bayne, BDE and other stars will appear in the game.
Maclin revealed his participation exclusively to Pakinomist Digital earlier this week.
“Everybody’s been asking me, ‘Why don’t you want to wrestle on your own show, especially for such a great cause?’ So from now on, officially, I’m entering as the No. 1 contender in the Battle for the Brave Memorial Cup,” he said. “I’m taking on 12 other competitors. It’s an over-the-top battle royal and the last two competitors turn into a match.
“I’m going to take the hard way and the hard way to go No. 1 and try to come all the way through to be that (last).”
Matt and Jeff Hardy are also in the event and gave a joint statement about their participation.

“My brother and I are both very excited to be spearheading Steve Maclin and Deonna Purrazzo’s very special Tunnel to Towers event. Tunnel to Towers is a very special organization that helps care for people who have been injured working to protect us – people like the military, first responders and police,” Hardys said. “We are very grateful for all these people’s services and efforts to keep us all safe and healthy. We look forward to raising as much money as we possibly can.”
