NEW Strands today (game #815) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #815, are…
- FRANKFURT
- ABRUPT
- FEET LONG
- BANGER
- WEENIE
- SPANGRAM: HOTDIGGITYDOG
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
Ketchup or mustard? That could only mean one thing: hot dogs. But how could Strands stretch this into an entire game, especially since the word “HOTDOG” didn’t seem to be spanked?
These were my thoughts when I started this game, with the many different types of sausages found in a shared bun. The words themselves were easy enough to spot, but the unnecessarily long spangram was a curveball.
I think I was also a bit annoyed by the word “or” in the theme. Surely everyone has both?
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Tuesday, May 26, Game #814)
- MOSS
- ACORN
- DAISY
- PUDDLE
- FEATHER
- POW PRESS
- SPANGRAM: SCAVENGER HUNT
